Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Identrio Inc., a New Jersey corporation (“Identrio”, “we”, “us”), for the use of Rebux (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of these terms.
If you are a tenant
The maintenance line for your unit is provided by Identrio on behalf of your landlord. Your texts, photos and the report go to your landlord, who decides what happens next. The line is not an emergency service. If anyone is in danger, call 911 first. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
1. What the Service does
The Service answers maintenance texts from your tenants, asks follow-up questions, collects photos, assesses urgency, emails you a report, alerts you to emergencies, and relays your replies to the tenant. It does not perform or schedule repairs, hire contractors, collect rent, show units, or act as your property manager. Your legal duties to your tenants, including habitability and response times, remain yours.
2. Not an emergency service
The Service is not a substitute for 911 or any emergency service. When a tenant reports danger, the Service tells them to call 911 first and then alerts you. Alerts travel over mobile networks and email and can be delayed, filtered or lost. You must not rely on the Service as your only way to learn about emergencies at your units.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18, use a United States mobile number, and have the authority to manage the units you add. Sign-in codes are sent to your mobile number, so keep that number secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. One account covers one landlord; you may not share it or resell the Service.
4. Your tenants
You may add a tenant's mobile number to a unit only after the tenant agrees to get maintenance texts from the line, and you confirm that each time you add a number. We send the number one invitation text. The tenant connects by replying CONFIRM. Remove a tenant's number when they move out. You are responsible for complying with the landlord-tenant, privacy and consumer-protection laws that apply to your units, including any notices your state requires you to give tenants. You must read the reports and alerts you receive and act on them as the law and your lease require.
5. Subscription, trial and billing
- The Service costs $29 per month for up to 10 units, with unlimited requests subject to fair use.
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
- We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change. Prices exclude taxes, which we add where required.
6. Fair use
“Unlimited requests” means the normal maintenance traffic of up to 10 residential units. If we see volume that does not match that, such as automated or bulk messaging, we may slow the Service, contact you, or ask you to move to a plan that fits.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to send marketing, spam or unlawful content; to harass or deceive anyone; to access another customer's data; or to probe, overload or reverse engineer the Service. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
8. Automated assistance
The Service uses automated language models to talk with tenants, assess urgency and write reports. These models can misread a message, miss a detail, or rate urgency wrongly. The urgency rating is an aid to your judgment, not professional, legal or safety advice. You decide what happens with every request. The Service never promises a tenant a repair date, a cost or a diagnosis, and you should not rely on it to do so.
9. Your data
You own the information about your units, tenants and requests. You give us the right to process it to provide the Service, and to use the text of messages to improve the Service, including to train, test and evaluate the models it uses, as described in the Privacy Policy. We keep message text for 90 days and then delete it; reports, summaries and photos stay until you delete the unit or close the account. The Service relays unit notes to tenants as safety steps, for example where the water shutoff is, so you are responsible for keeping those notes accurate. You can view and copy your records in the dashboard at any time, including before you close the account.
10. Text messaging
Texts are delivered by mobile carriers that we do not control. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be delayed. Message and data rates may apply to you and to your tenants. A tenant who replies STOP will no longer receive texts from the line, and you will need another way to reach them.
11. Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features, and we may interrupt the Service for maintenance. We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your account for non-payment, breach of these terms, or conduct that harms the Service or other customers. After termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 2, 8 and 13 to 17 survive termination.
13. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that reports or urgency ratings are accurate or complete, or that texts and alerts will be delivered on time.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Identrio is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of rent, loss of data, or damage to property or persons arising from a delayed, missed or inaccurate report or alert. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Identrio against claims brought by your tenants or other third parties that arise from your units, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms or of the law.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
